ASTM A335 P9 Seamless Alloy Steel Pipes (UNS S50400)

ASTM A335 P9 Pipes, made from UNS S50400, are high-strength chromium-molybdenum (9Cr-1Mo) alloy steel seamless pipes used primarily in high-temperature and high-pressure environments. These pipes offer excellent creep resistance, high thermal stability, and long service life under extreme operating conditions. Their superior oxidation resistance, combined with strong structural integrity, makes them ideal for power plants, refineries, petrochemical units, and superheater boiler tubes.

P9 is widely used in thermal power plants due to its ability to withstand temperatures over 600°C. The 9% chromium content provides outstanding corrosion resistance against aggressive media, while molybdenum enhances strength and hardness at elevated temperatures. These seamless pipes ensure reliability where failure is not an option.
