ASTM B111 C71500 Tube, designated as UNS C71500, is a premium copper-nickel 70/30 alloy tube developed for severe marine and industrial environments. With approximately 70% copper and 30% nickel, ASTM B111 UNS C71500 tubes provide significantly higher strength and superior resistance to seawater corrosion compared to 90/10 copper-nickel alloys. The addition of controlled iron and manganese further improves resistance to erosion, cavitation, and biofouling. Due to these properties, ASTM B111 C71500 tubes are extensively used in condensers, heat exchangers, offshore platforms, and power generation systems where reliability and long service life are critical.
