Hastelloy B3 Round Bar (UNS N10675)
Hastelloy B3 Round Bar is a nickel–molybdenum alloy designed as the most advanced grade in the B-family, offering superior resistance to hydrochloric acid and other strong reducing environments. Compared to Hastelloy B and B2, Hastelloy B3 provides improved thermal stability, better fabricability, and enhanced resistance to intergranular corrosion, even after welding or exposure to elevated temperatures.
Hastelloy B3 Round Bar (also known as Alloy B3 Round Bar) maintains excellent mechanical strength at high temperatures and shows good resistance to pitting and stress corrosion cracking in reducing media. However, it is not recommended for oxidizing environments.
