EN9 Carbon Steel Round Bar (UNS G10550)
EN9 Round Bar is a high carbon steel grade widely used for applications requiring high strength, hardness, and wear resistance. Internationally identified by UNS G10550, EN9 steel typically contains 0.50–0.60% carbon, making it suitable for components subjected to heavy loads and repeated stress. It is commonly supplied in hot rolled or normalized condition and shows excellent response to quenching and tempering heat treatments.
Key Features
- High carbon content for superior strength and hardness
- Excellent wear and abrasion resistance
- Good heat treatability
- Reliable performance under high stress
- Cost-effective solution for heavy-duty engineering parts
