416 Stainless Steel Round Bar (UNS S41600)
416 Stainless Steel Round Bar is a free-machining martensitic stainless steel specifically engineered for excellent machinability with moderate corrosion resistance. Identified by UNS S41600, this grade contains added sulfur, enabling faster machining speeds and superior surface finish compared to standard martensitic grades like 410.
It is widely used in high-volume machining applications where corrosion resistance requirements are moderate and productivity is critical.
