431 Stainless Steel Round Bar (UNS S43100)
431 Stainless Steel Round Bar is a high-chromium, high-nickel martensitic stainless steel known for its excellent corrosion resistance, very high strength, and good toughness. Identified by UNS S43100, this grade offers better corrosion resistance than 410 and 420, approaching that of austenitic grades in some environments, while still being heat treatable for high strength.
It is widely used in marine, aerospace, and heavy-duty industrial applications where strength and corrosion resistance are both critical.
