ASTM A210 / ASME SA210 Gr A1 & C
ASTM A210 / ASME SA210 covers medium-carbon seamless steel tubes that are used for boilers, superheaters, and heat exchangers in high-temperature service. These tubes are known for excellent mechanical strength, thermal resistance, and durability under elevated pressure and temperature conditions.
Grades Available
Grade A1
- Medium carbon content.
- Offers good strength, weldability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Commonly used in low to medium pressure boilers and general engineering applications.
Grade C
- Higher carbon content compared to A1.
- Provides greater tensile strength and creep resistance.
- Preferred for high-pressure boilers and critical heat transfer equipment.
