ASTM A213 TP321 Stainless Steel Tube (UNS S32100)
ASTM A213 TP321 (UNS S32100) Stainless Steel Tube are titanium-stabilized austenitic stainless steel tubes designed for high-temperature service and superior resistance to intergranular corrosion. Unlike standard 304/316 grades, TP321 contains titanium, which stabilizes the structure and prevents carbide precipitation during welding and prolonged exposure to elevated temperatures. This makes TP321 highly suitable for heat exchangers, superheaters, and boiler tubes that operate in continuous high-temperature environments.
The grade exhibits exceptional resistance to oxidation, scaling, and thermal fatigue, making it ideal for high-temperature steam systems and refinery heater tubes. TP321 is also well-known for its excellent performance in environments where repeated thermal cycling and corrosive media are present. Its strong mechanical properties, excellent weldability, and dimensional stability make it one of the preferred materials for critical fabrication and engineering applications across multiple industries.
