ASTM A335 P122 Alloy Steel Seamless Pipes (UNS K92164)

Introduction

ASTM A335 P122 (UNS K92164) is an advanced 11% Chromium steel grade alloyed with Molybdenum, Tungsten, Vanadium, and Boron, specially developed for seamless ferritic alloy steel pipes operating in extremely high-temperature and high-pressure environments. Known for superior creep strength, oxidation resistance, and long-term thermal stability, P122 is widely used in ultra-supercritical power plants, boilers, reheaters, and steam lines.

Key Features

  • Excellent creep and stress-rupture strength
  • Designed for ultra-high temperature service
  • Superior oxidation and corrosion resistance
  • Enhanced thermal stability over long service duration
  • High-strength 11Cr alloy with W, Mo, V, Nb, and B
  • Suitable for supercritical and ultra-supercritical boiler systems
