Product Overview ASTM A403 WP904L Cap
ASTM A403 WP904L Cap is a high-alloy austenitic stainless steel butt-weld pipe fitting manufactured from 904L (UNS N08904 / EN 1.4539) material. These caps are used to close the end of piping systems in highly corrosive environments where superior resistance to acids and chlorides is essential.
WP904L offers excellent resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and chloride stress corrosion cracking due to its high chromium, nickel, molybdenum, and copper content. These pipe caps are ideal for critical applications in chemical processing, offshore, oil & gas, desalination, and sulfuric acid plants.
Manufactured as per ASTM A403 and dimensional standard ASME B16.9, WP904L caps ensure pressure integrity, durability, and long service life.
