Product Overview ASTM A403 WP904L Stub End
ASTM A403 WP904L Stub End are high-alloy austenitic stainless steel butt-weld fittings manufactured from 904L (UNS N08904 / EN 1.4539) material. Stub ends are used with lap joint flanges to create a detachable and easily maintainable piping connection, especially in highly corrosive environments.
WP904L offers exceptional resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and chloride stress corrosion cracking due to its high chromium, nickel, molybdenum, and copper content. These stub ends are ideal for acid processing systems, offshore platforms, oil & gas installations, and desalination plants.
Manufactured in compliance with ASTM A403 and dimensional standards such as ASME B16.9 / MSS SP-43, WP904L stub ends ensure dimensional accuracy, strength, and long service life.
