ASTM B111 UNS C28000 tubes are manufactured in seamless form and are valued for their good mechanical strength, reasonable corrosion resistance, and cost-effectiveness. While not recommended for severe seawater environments, these tubes perform well in fresh water, industrial cooling systems, and general heat exchanger applications where strength and economy are key considerations.
