ASTM B338 Grade 11 Titanium Pipe & Tube (UNS R52250)
ASTM B338 Grade 11 (UNS R52250) covers seamless and welded titanium pipes and tubes manufactured from a titanium–palladium alloy, combining the corrosion resistance of commercially pure titanium with enhanced strength and improved resistance to crevice corrosion. Grade 11 is widely used in chemical processing, heat exchangers, and marine environments where durability and corrosion resistance are critical.
Key Features
- Titanium–palladium alloy with superior corrosion resistance
- Enhanced resistance to crevice and pitting corrosion
- Better strength compared to Grade 1 and Grade 2
- Excellent weldability and fabrication characteristics
- Lightweight with high strength-to-weight ratio
- Suitable for aggressive chemical and marine environments
