Hastelloy B Round Bar (UNS N10001)
Hastelloy B Round Bar is a nickel–molybdenum alloy specifically designed for excellent resistance to strong reducing environments, particularly hydrochloric acid at all concentrations and temperatures. It also offers outstanding resistance to sulfuric acid, acetic acid, and phosphoric acid under reducing conditions, making it a critical material for harsh chemical processing applications.
Hastelloy B Round Bar (also referred to as Alloy B Round Bar) provides good high-temperature strength and excellent fabricability. However, it should not be used in oxidizing environments due to susceptibility to rapid attack. Proper control of composition and processing ensures resistance to intergranular corrosion and long service life.
