Hastelloy B2 Round Bar (UNS N10665)
Hastelloy B2 Round Bar is a nickel–molybdenum alloy developed as an improved version of Hastelloy B, offering exceptional resistance to hydrochloric acid and other strong reducing environments. With tighter control of iron and chromium impurities, Hastelloy B2 provides enhanced resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and intergranular attack, ensuring reliable performance in severe chemical conditions.
Hastelloy B2 Round Bar (also known as Alloy B2 Round Bar) maintains good mechanical strength at elevated temperatures and exhibits excellent fabricability and weldability when proper procedures are followed. However, like other B-family alloys, it should not be used in oxidizing environments.
