Nickel 201 Round Bar (UNS N02201)
Nickel 201 Round Bar is a commercially pure wrought nickel alloy with a very low carbon content, offering performance similar to Nickel 200 but with improved resistance to graphitization at elevated temperatures. Because of this, Nickel 201 is preferred for high-temperature applications above 315°C, while still maintaining excellent corrosion resistance, ductility, and thermal stability.
This alloy exhibits outstanding resistance to caustic alkalis, reducing chemicals, and neutral salts, and performs exceptionally well in both hot and cold environments. Its high purity ensures excellent electrical and thermal conductivity, making it suitable for chemical processing, heat transfer, and electrical applications.
Key Features
- Commercially pure nickel with very low carbon content
- Excellent resistance to caustic and alkaline environments
- Suitable for high-temperature service without graphitization
- Good thermal and electrical conductivity
- Excellent ductility, toughness, and weldability
