Titanium Grade 12 Round Bar (Ti-0.3Mo-0.8Ni) – UNS R53400
Titanium Grade 12 Round Bar is a near-alpha titanium alloy alloyed with molybdenum and nickel, offering excellent corrosion resistance, enhanced strength, and superior crevice-corrosion performance compared to commercially pure titanium grades. It is especially suited for chemical processing, marine, and heat exchanger applications operating in aggressive environments.
Key Features
- Superior corrosion and crevice-corrosion resistance
- Better strength than CP titanium grades (Gr 1–4)
- Excellent weldability and fabrication properties
- Good resistance to reducing and chloride-bearing media
- Lightweight, non-magnetic, and durable
- Reliable performance at moderate elevated temperatures
