ASTM B338 Gr 3 (UNS R50550) specifies seamless and welded pipes and tubes made from commercially pure titanium with higher strength than Grades 1 and 2. Grade 3 offers an excellent balance of strength, corrosion resistance, and weldability, making it suitable for moderately demanding chemical, marine, and industrial process applications.
