ASTM B861 Gr 7 Titanium Pipe (UNS R52400) is a commercially pure titanium seamless pipe alloyed with a small addition of palladium, significantly enhancing its corrosion resistance compared to standard CP titanium grades. Grade 7 is especially resistant to reducing acids, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking, making it one of the most corrosion-resistant titanium grades available. Due to its excellent durability, formability, and long service life, ASTM B861 Gr 7 titanium pipes are widely used in chemical processing, marine, and industrial applications where aggressive media are present.
