436 Stainless Steel Round Bar (UNS S43600)
436 Stainless Steel Round Bar (UNS S43600) is a molybdenum-bearing, columbium/niobium-stabilised ferritic stainless steel that provides improved corrosion resistance compared to conventional 430 and 434 grades. The combined addition of molybdenum and niobium enhances resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and intergranular attack while maintaining good oxidation resistance at elevated temperatures. 436 stainless steel round bars are magnetic, cost-effective, and well suited for automotive, structural, and mildly corrosive industrial environments.
