444 Stainless Steel Round Bar (UNS S44400)
444 Stainless Steel Round Bar (UNS S44400) is a low-carbon, low-nitrogen, molybdenum-bearing ferritic stainless steel stabilized with titanium and niobium for excellent resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking. This grade offers corrosion resistance comparable to austenitic stainless steels such as 316L, while maintaining the advantages of ferritic structure, including good thermal conductivity and resistance to chloride-induced stress corrosion cracking. 444 stainless steel round bars are magnetic and well suited for demanding corrosive environments.
