Monel 400 Round Bar (UNS N04400)
Monel 400 Round Bar is a nickel–copper alloy renowned for its excellent corrosion resistance, high strength, and outstanding performance in marine and chemical environments. Containing approximately 63% nickel and 30–34% copper, Monel 400 maintains its mechanical properties over a wide temperature range, from sub-zero conditions to elevated temperatures, making it a reliable material for critical applications.
This alloy shows exceptional resistance to seawater, hydrofluoric acid, sulfuric acid, and alkaline solutions, and is virtually immune to chloride-induced stress corrosion cracking. Monel 400 is also known for its good weldability, excellent toughness, and long service life under severe operating conditions.
