Titanium Grade 2 Round Bar (UNS R50400)
Titanium Grade 2 Round Bar is the most widely used commercially pure titanium grade, offering an excellent balance of strength, corrosion resistance, and formability. It performs exceptionally well in oxidizing and mildly reducing environments, including seawater and chemical processing media, making it a preferred choice for industrial, marine, and heat exchanger applications.
Key Features
- Excellent corrosion resistance in seawater and chemicals
- Higher strength than Grade 1 with good ductility
- Outstanding weldability and fabrication properties
- Lightweight with high strength-to-weight ratio
- Non-magnetic and biocompatible
- Reliable performance across a wide temperature range
