Product Overview ASTM A403 WP904L Nipple
ASTM A403 WP904L Nipple is a high-alloy austenitic stainless steel pipe fitting manufactured from 904L (UNS N08904 / EN 1.4539) material. It is designed for joining two threaded or welded pipe connections in highly corrosive environments where exceptional resistance to acids, chlorides, and seawater is required.
WP904L offers outstanding resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and chloride stress corrosion cracking due to its high chromium, nickel, molybdenum, and copper content. These nipples are widely used in chemical processing plants, offshore installations, oil & gas pipelines, and sulfuric acid handling systems.
