405 Stainless Steel Round Bar (UNS S40500) is a chromium-based ferritic stainless steel alloyed with aluminum to provide excellent resistance to oxidation and sulfur-containing atmospheres at elevated temperatures. This grade is specifically designed for applications requiring good heat resistance, moderate corrosion resistance, and improved resistance to hardening during cooling from high temperatures. 405 stainless steel round bars are commonly used in furnace parts, refinery equipment, and other heat-resisting components.
