Hastelloy C4 Round Bar (UNS N06455)
Hastelloy C4 Round Bar is a nickel–chromium–molybdenum alloy known for its excellent resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking in both oxidizing and reducing environments. With low carbon and silicon content, Hastelloy C4 offers exceptional thermal stability, minimizing carbide precipitation during welding or high-temperature exposure.
Hastelloy C4 Round Bar (also referred to as Alloy C4 Round Bar) performs reliably in aggressive chemical processing conditions, particularly where contamination from intergranular corrosion must be avoided. It maintains good mechanical strength at elevated temperatures and is well-suited for fabrication and welding without post-weld heat treatment in most cases.
