317L Stainless Steel Round Bar (UNS S31703) is a low-carbon, high-molybdenum austenitic stainless steel designed for superior corrosion resistance in aggressive chemical and marine environments. With higher chromium, nickel, and molybdenum content than 316L, 317L round bars offer excellent resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and chemical attack, especially in acidic and chloride-rich conditions. The low carbon content ensures improved weldability and minimizes the risk of intergranular corrosion.
